Concepts of Print: Is it a letter, word, sentence or picture?

This early literacy activity pack contains 15 letter cards, 18 word cards, 18 sentence cards and 15 picture cards (in both ink-saving and colour versions). Children actively sort the cards into letters, words, sentences and pictures, and explain their reasoning. You may wish to do this as a whole class consolidation activity and display your students’ finished sorts as classroom posters.
