Let’s play bingo! This pack contains 8 beautiful bingo mats and a set of calling cards, and is a perfect addition to your maths group activity collection! Children will practise reading and recognising the numbers 1 – 30 and have lots of fun in the process!
PREPARATION:
- Print the bingo mats, cut and laminate. There are two A5 mats per page.
- Print the calling cards, cut and laminate.
- Prepare some bingo markers. Suggestions for markers include: buttons, teddy bear counters and stones.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Hand out one bingo mat and 12 markers (i.e. stones, counters) to each child.
- Shuffle the calling cards.
- Turn over a calling card, read it and show it to the children.
- Invite children to search for the number on their mat. If they have the matching number, they can place a counter on it.
- The first child to cover all the numbers on their bingo mat is the winner. You may wish to continue playing until all children have covered their mat. This way they all get to enjoy the satisfaction of calling ‘BINGO’!
